THE YOGA INSTRUCTOR

Georgina first found yoga whilst travelling to Sri Lanka as a volunteer in 2011. Following this initial introduction she experimented with a variety of styles before finding her perfect practice that focused on strength and flexibility. Recognising the importance of building a sustainable future and positively balanced lifestyle she returned to Sri Lanka to train as a yoga teacher alongside Lara Baumann; founder of Quantum Yoga. This life changing experience lead to teaching opportunities at retreats across Sri Lanka where she challenged students with dynamic flows whilst soothing them with her compassionate and peaceful nature. Now based in Nottinghamshire, Georgina loves sharing yoga with the local community. She welcome ladies, gentleman, newbies and seasoned yogis by offering variations within her classes. The sessions aim to inspire and uplift whilst stilling the mind. A super friendly and nurturing space is created for students to escape reality and develop their practice.

Y O G A

 Beginner – Intermediate

Vinyasa Flow can be defined as breath synchronised movement. Each class will start off slow with an introduction to the breath which inspires peace of mind. Next you will flow through a series of poses designed to work the body thereby building strength and stabilising the joints. 

Yin Yoga-every 4th week.

 Yin yoga aspires to work deeper into the connective tissues of the body, targeting the ligaments, joints, bones and fascia. Strengthen your heart and mind through a series of long held postures which will help you to increase flexibility and maintain mobility in later life.

No equipment is needed as all mats and blocks are provided.  However if you have your own matt please feel free to use it.
