50 + Fit is an exercise class for ladies, specifically designed to meet the individual needs of people over the age of 50 who would like to keep fit but may have limitations due to the ageing process.
Regular physical activity can delay the ageing process by 10-15 years!
This class includes functional exercises to improve everyday life, build and maintain strength , increase flexibility and range of movement and improve core stability that we would otherwise lose, leading to falls and fractures.
Jane will begin by warming you up with a low impact aerobic warm up to music, (there is no pressure to get all the steps right!) Jane keeps it easy to remember making it more enjoyable. All exercises are adapted to your capabilities ensuring a safe and effective workout that you will enjoy!
Equipment needed for the classes.
1 x Stability Ball (the size depends on your height) Jane will advise you on this.
1 x pair of dumbells . 1kg each or 1.5kg each if you want to work a little harder!
You may want to begin with no weights and progress to using weights once you have become familiar with the exercises.
